Priyanka Chopra bursts into tears during Mary Kom’s mahurat shot

The actor broke down on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project based on the life of the Olympic bronze medallist
Priyanka Chopra resumed work yesterday and started off with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus biopic based on the renowned boxer, Mary Kom. Priyanka came along with her mother for the mahurat shot. While she looked totally in control of herself initially, she could not hold back her tears and broke down eventually.




Daddy’s li’l girl PeeCee was allowed to take her own time to deal with the loss but she decided to come back and shoot to keep herself occupied and assured the director that she was mentally ready and prepared to get on with the work. She also performed a small puja on the sets.

The mahurat shot of the film saw Priyanka wearing a blue jersey and red shots as she threw a few punches in the ring with an American fighter. She is playing the renowned boxer in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, and we know that she is a fighter in real life too. We hope PC gathers enough strength to get past this tough phase.
